Mile High Horse Ranch
Mile High Horse Ranch
Mile High Horse Ranch is a full-service boarding and training facility located southeast of Denver in Parker, Colorado, about 40 minutes from Denver International Airport. Built in 1976 as a Trakehner breeding farm, it transitioned in the mid-1990s to a boarding and training operation with an emphasis on eventing. The facility spans 35 acres of hilly terrain and hosts a USEA-sanctioned horse trials annually.
Mile High offers multiple boarding options including inside stalls, stalls with shared or individual runs, corrals with sheds, and pasture boarding. Stalls are cleaned once daily and horses are fed twice daily with Colorado mountain hay and pelleted grain; boarders may provide supplements to be added at feeding time. Blanketing and turnout are available for an additional fee, with four pastures available during warm months for horses to graze and exercise.
- Lynn is praised as a wonderful riding instructor who works with boarders and their horses.
