Horse Power Farm is a 9-acre facility deep in the woods of Canterbury, Connecticut, owned and operated by Ann Bowie, BHSII(T). The farm is one of Eastern Connecticut's top cross-country schooling facilities, offering dressage, stadium jumping, and cross-country training from elementary through training level. A new indoor arena was added in 2023, and the farm hosts a popular Eventing Derby series throughout the season.
Regular boarding at Horse Power Farm is $700 per month and includes housing in 12x12 or 10x10 stalls, daily individual turnout, hay fed four times daily with owner's choice of grain, and use of a tack room with individual lockers. Riders have access to a 130'x160' lighted sand arena for dressage and stadium, an on-property cross-country schooling course ranging from elementary to training level, and a 70'x140' indoor ring at a nearby satellite location.
