9 Acres Equestrian Center, formerly Fitzjoy Farm Riding Academy, is a 9-acre facility in Palos Park, Illinois that has operated as a successful teaching and boarding facility for decades. Now under new ownership with the next generation, the facility offers boarding, lessons, training, and camps.
Horses are housed in 10 x 10 box stalls and receive premium hay twice daily plus grain (Nutrena Triumph Professional) twice daily. Stalls are equipped with two 5-gallon water buckets, cleaned daily with fresh shavings added seven days a week. All horses are inspected nightly with water rechecked before closing. Turnout is available Monday through Saturday. Supplements and medications can be added to feedings at no additional cost.
