Paradise Stables is a 125-acre boarding facility in Mount Airy, Maryland (near New Market), set on prime pasture with 10 miles of woods and fields for riding trails. The facility operates as a pleasure-focused barn that welcomes all horse breeds and riding disciplines, with full-time staff present a minimum of 12 hours daily and owners living on-site for emergency availability.
Boarding includes daily attention from trained staff with options for stall or field boarding. Stall-boarded horses receive a 12x12 box stall with daily turnout based on season, two feedings per day, morning and evening blanket changes, daily fly spray and fly masks, and holding for regular veterinary calls. Field-boarded horses have access to spacious run-in sheds, heated automatic waterers, and hay huts. All boarding includes free choice hay, daily hoof picking, cursory grooming, booking and handling of vet and farrier appointments, medication administration, fecal testing four times yearly, deworming up to twice per year, and daily wrapping. Herd management limits field groups to 4-5 horses with consideration for dietary restrictions, personality, and herd dynamics.
