Bluebell Hill Farm is a small, family-owned pasture boarding facility located in southeastern Boone County, Missouri, about 14 miles east of the University of Missouri campus. Operating on 20 acres in the Mark Twain National Forest area, it offers a low-key setting with full-time on-site owners and a maximum of 6 boarders.
Year-round pasture-only boarding with rotated pastures to keep horses on grass much of the year. During winter months (approximately mid-October to mid-April), hay is provided via large round bales in feeders. The facility provides daily hands-on checks, owner-supplied grain feeding, access to a regularly scheduled farrier, and an annual vet visit. This is a self-care facility.
