Sundog Stables is a family-owned boarding and riding facility in Spearfish, South Dakota, operated by Joan and Pat Waters. Located 1 mile north of Exit 17 on I-90, the facility offers both stall and pasture boarding with access to multiple arenas and wooded and pasture riding trails.
Stall boarding includes 12x16 stalls with attached 40-foot runs, twice-daily grass or grass/alfalfa rations tailored to your horse, turn-outs three times weekly (weather permitting), feeding of owner-provided grain and supplements, and daily stall mucking. Pasture boarding offers unlimited access to netted grass hay, water, and salt blocks with shelters in all pastures. Both options include access to indoor and outdoor arenas, round pen, trails, tack area and storage, and wash rack facilities.
