Happy Horse Hotel is located 18 miles east of Austin near the LCRA McKinney Roughs Nature Park, just 2 miles from the equestrian trailhead. The facility offers 20 pens, 2 covered stalls, a round pen, on-site riding trails, 6 RV/living-quarter hookup spaces, two cabins (sleeping 3-4 guests each), and tent camping. They provide shuttle service to and from the park so guests don't need to unhook their rigs.

Overnight boarding includes individual outdoor pens, covered stalls, and access to 16 miles of scenic trails along the Colorado River. A charming bungalow and RV hookups are available for human accommodations.
