Sharkey Farm is a 15-acre boarding and training facility located on Snoqualmie Ridge, 30 minutes from Seattle and just two miles off Snoqualmie Parkway. The farm is operated by Kate and Chris Sharkey and offers boarding, lessons, training, and an active IEA team program. The facility emphasizes horsemanship education and a community-oriented approach where riders participate in daily farm operations.
Boarded horses receive quality Eastern Washington grass/alfalfa hay fed 24/7 in slow feed nets, NW Supplement or Triple Crown 30% ration balancer based on individual needs, and access to fully matted stalls and shelters. Horses have rotated seasonal pastures, mud-free gravel drylots, and 20+ miles of soft surface trails on and around the property. All boarded horses must be in lessons or training with Kate.
