Hickory Grove Farm is a small-scale boarding facility on 30 acres in Mukwonago, Wisconsin, near the Southern Unit of the Kettle State Forest. Built in the 1950s and operated by the third-generation owner, the farm retains old barn character while offering modern amenities including an indoor arena, outdoor arena, and pasture turnout.
Board includes 11x11 or 12x12 matted box stalls cleaned daily, with water buckets emptied and refilled daily. Horses are turned out in small herds (2–6 horses) from dawn to dusk. Grain is fed twice daily and hay is fed 2–3 times daily. The package covers blanketing during weather changes, fly mask application and removal, and supplemental feeding provided by the owner.
